Damiana

What is it?
Originally used in Mexican folk medicine, damiana is an antidepressant and improves mood. It is also mildly diuretic and may enhance the action of testosterone.
What it does in the body
Damiana is used to treat depression, herpes, impotence and sexual problmes of psychological origin in men and women.
Cautions
Damiana should not be used by anyone suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.
